Join OCR Academy Founder Joshua at Ottawa’s top training hub for all things related to Obstacle Course Racing. This workshop is designed to give you the confidence to tackle any of the obstacles that an Obstacle Course Race will throw at you. With this workshop you will have the confidence and skills to get the best experience possible at your next race.

We will go over walls, monkey bars, rings, rope climb, spear throw, a-frame, atlas wall, and more!

This workshop will break down each obstacle and provide you tips and tricks on how to overcome each obstacle. When you register, you will get a grip and cardio routine designed by our staff. As a first time racer we understand that this experience can be a little overwhelming so we got you covered with what to wear, when to arrive, how to properly hydrate and what to expect on race day. All this is just $60+tax!

‍️Elevate your running game with Hill Running training at OCR Academy, led by the seasoned expert, Josh Fry! Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Calabogie Peaks, our sessions offer the perfect blend of challenge and scenery to push your limits and enhance your endurance.

Location: Calabogie Peaks, 30 Barrett Chute Rd, Calabogie. We meet at the solar ski chair lift.

Time: 9:30 AM on Sundays (except Inferno weekends)

Best part? It’s completely free! With Josh’s expert guidance, conquer the peaks and valleys while honing your strength and stamina.

Inferno is back. This is our Race Simulation Class—and one of the toughest workouts we offer. Think you’ve got what it takes? Show up. Push hard. Then ask yourself: Did I give it everything I had?

Inferno blends hill sprints, obstacle challenges, and weighted exercises—including heavy carries—into one relentless session. It’s designed to mimic the intensity and unpredictability of a real Obstacle Course Race. This class isn’t just about finishing—it’s about testing your limits and coming back stronger.
